Bowling Position #2: The Cupped Bowling Release Position:
The cupped bowling wrist position promotes a shorter slide and earlier roll. This is best used on oilier on longer lane conditioning patters, or on lane conditioner carry down, or if you are leaving a lot of wrap 10 pins. This wrist makes the ball hook sooner and will give your bowling ball more revolutions. A lot of your cranker style bowlers use this bowling hand postion. Be careful with this release as it can cause pain and possible wrist injury.
